Reach: A Life Story
I’m not sure if I can reach my goal
It is right in front of me 3 feet high – on my plate and in my Dream
That’s right, its 3 feet of pure ice – cream.
I have it all planned out, the perfect scheme.
I’m going to take this eating contest to another extreme.
My mind is set, this is my plan,
For this is my life that I began,
Alone, all by myself, I cannot, will not be stopped.
Every opponent of mine will be dropped
From this contest – because this is my life
And my never-ending strife,
To be the best thing ever
Or I will never –
Ever be anything else.
Every single goal that I have ever tried
Throughout my entire life, – has failed me
But I cannot, will not be stopped.
When my lights go out – its over –
So I have to make my life – right here because I will never find a four-leaf clover.
I begin my battle and then I hear my heart rattle.
I have to stay focused – on my goal,
Or it’s over for me because I have dug myself a hole.
I look down I am eating like a mole
This victory is mine it will not be stole –
–n, Just like every single opportunity I have had in life.
But I cannot, will not be stopped
It is done –
I have won –
I put down my gun
