Hard to Catch

Flash.
The sky is spinning around her like a crazy carousel and she jumps and jumps and jumps until her legs can no more, laughing so much her breath that escapes her is hard to catch. Hard to catch.
It’s hard to catch the moment where she looks free, frozen in the sky,
Spread out like a fallen star.
Hard to catch that mocking sky that never ends.
And so I push harder on the button and hope, that that moment, that moment when the sky that sees and knows everything is nothing but an old faded blue wall against the frozen leaping girl will stay that way
It will, I know,
That sky so hard to catch.
One day it will end.

But only in my photographs

And I hope that this girl, whose life’s astraddle a painted pony on a crazy carousel Will not be forgotten.
But cycles like this cannot be broken. It’s only a simple game for that mocking sky up there.
And what can I do?
I can’t stop anything.
For time flies.
Time is a winged creature that just cannot be caught
In a web of woven hopes
No matter how strong they may seem.
And so I think harder inside my mind and hope that this moment when time is nothing but a tame moth hanging on the wall of the sky will stay that way
It will, I know,
That time so hard to catch.
One day it will stop.

But only in my photographs

For cowardly time will always fly away.
