Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery, but today is a gift, that's why it is called present

The world floats past me

The world unending
The days drift past

What do I have to fee-ar?

Left here

To fend for myself
Left all alone

No one beside me here

I stand alone

Not one last good-bye
I sit here at night

And cry

You were my everything

My morning and my night
My first light I see at day

The final every night

Remember when

You took my hand
And promised me

You’d hold me tight
And never let go

Why did you leave me

Here alone

My days remain unchanged

Your life is well forgotten
But as for me

Your always here

Stay by me

Keep you’re your faith
And I promise you

I’ll always be here

Love me,

Touch me
Remember me

Trust me

My best friend died a few years ago, and I wrote this poem in memory of her. This song was written in the point of view of a young woman whose husband died in an accident.

I really love this. I really like how everyone can relate to this. I hope you keep writing, because this is great. You should check out some of my stuff. I think you would like it.
