A Tango

November 30, 2009
Misery why do I welcome you so?
Inviting you,
With open arms.
Calling on you in the middle of the night
Your beautiful red lips,
calling my name,
As we tango trough life,
Jerking me across the dance floor,
You and I in our abusive relationship,
Unable to part
For I love you
And you,
Love torturing me
Sweetly whispering in my ears
Words masked as reassurance,
Only creating guilty doubt to muck up my mind,
As we tango through life,
Your beautiful red lips,
Calling my name,
Jerking me,
Cutting me,
Causing me to second guess happiness,
Misery why do I welcome you so?
Why do I love you so?
Please don't be so nice to me.
Don't be so comforting,
Comfortable,
Caring.
Cruel.
Your beautiful red lips,
Calling my name as we tango through life,
Jerking me across the dance floor.
Misery, why do I welcome you so?

This is very descriptive and I love it's simplicity. Keep writing!
