Lives Collide

By , Pacifica, CA
Seas crash on the shore
of my home town.
I am lost,have no
where to go now.
The rain still falls, blend
with my tears now.
Want to trust you, but
I don't know how.
Run from you, I'm
all alone dear.
Don't look for me, I
don't want to hear

"Our lives collide,
I want you by my side."
I may agree,
but you still hurt me
If we try, on the
inside I'll cry.
And if you still lie,
I think I would die.
Our lives collide, but we
still crash and burn.
Before, you hurt me, when's
it my turn?
Will we ever learn?

You were always there
right beside me.
Then you left, said
you had to be free.
When times are hard, you
leave so quickly.
Then return, pretend that
you need me. Pushed you out of my
mind, I've moved on.
And I see already,
you're long gone...

"Our lives collide,
I want you by my side."
I may agree,
but you still hurt me
If we try, on the
inside I'll cry.
And if you still lie,
I think I would die.
Our lives collide, but we
still crash and burn.
Before, you hurt me, when's
it my turn?
Will we ever learn?

Don't return,
I hope you crash...
and burn.
