That little girl with dreams so bright
Is who I’d wanna be
Cus she would never fall for you
Or your symphony

I’ll say I’m fine
But cry all night
Oh now you’ll never see
But pretty words and worn out terms
Won’t ever work on me

(Chorus)
So now’s goodnight
This song is by
A broken heart, a girl in line
Just waiting for the time
Who’s saying goodbye
Cus I can’t survive
Sleeping to this melody
You and your symphony
Are all just a lie

So now don’t sing to me
Those songs with no harmony
Love wasn’t meant to be
A selfish, lonely melody

I think you fine
But hurt inside
And simply put its no longer June
Now your frail and cold and out of tune

(Chorus)
So now’s goodnight
This song is by
A broken heart, a girl in line
Just waiting for the time
Who’s saying goodbye
Cus I can’t survive
Sleeping to this melody
You and your symphony
Are all just a lie

Don’t you worry about me
I’ll sing in a different key
With no more need to be in your symphony

(Chorus)
So now’s goodnight
This song is by
A broken heart, a girl in line
Just waiting for the time
Who’s saying goodbye
Cus I can’t survive
Sleeping to this melody
You and your symphony
Are all just a lie

In plain terms this song is about the concept of blind love. I wrote this song based on personal experiences in both relationships and friendships. I found myself getting carried away by lies people who I truly loved were feeding me. They were selling me a lies trying to convince me to be part of the symphony of deceit. Despite this, I was able to free myself from these destructive people and I hope that others reading this will also find what they have inside of themselves to rid their lives of such negativity.
