Mental Health

By , Hillsborough, NJ
What I have here and now
I can find it there and then
Im not to sure what you were thinking
When you said we'd be together 'til the end
But when I opened my eyes
I realized that I was just as blind

I never bothered to make sure that
You were telling me the truth
I just sorta believed you
And next time you pull me into your trap
There will be no going back
To when I strong enough to
Get myself back out
I want you, I hate you
I need you, Used to date you
Cant believe myself
You've messed up my mental health

So incompatible, yet I thought I was in love and
You'd smile like you liked me
You'd call me almost nightly
Telling me we were perfect with eachother
A couple like no other
But inside you were laughing at how I was falling

I never bothered to make sure that
You were telling me the truth
I just sorta believed you
And next time you pull me into your trap
There will be no going back
To when I strong enough to
Get myself back out
I want you, I hate you
I need you, Used to date you
Cant believe myself
You've messed up my mental health

This is, this is
The last time I trust you
Now I, Now I
Wonder how I loved you
I dont need you
In my life no more
So just walk out the door

Dont call me at night
I dont wanna fight
Just let this all go
Lets not make a show
Our loves like a book,
Put back on the shelf
as i try to recover my mental health
