Just take me to the moon
To someplace that I can be
Far, far away from here
Alone, lookin' down
As my problems float away
Only just for a second--
Only for some peace of mind
Where no one can see me
So just take me to moon
To that big, big bright eye
In the clouds and away from here
Silent, and alone
'Cause space is very, very big
But I still wanna stay close to home
For it's not all bad
And I still got my dad
So please take me to moon
Maybe I won't be all alone
Maybe dad and I will watch the sky
