I am feeling so tired but I can't sleep
I was on my phone for too long I believe
All my friends have closed their eyes and dreamt away
While I'm here worried bout tomorrow being Monday
I just want to sleep so I can get up early
Tomorrow I will need a hot cup of coffee
So I can manage to stay awake all throughout work
I'll need to use so much energy for everything, even just to fake a smirk
But I am sitting here contemplating about life
What will happen in the afterlife?
When will I marry and get a wife?
Do I have unfinished homework due tomorrow?
Why is my mind running now?
I could have been asleep ages ago
Well I'll just close my eyes and put my spiritual thoughts to rest
Because I just realized, tomorrow I have a science test
