Hello I am Gatsby,
Great Gatsby you say?
No I'm his cousin,
Just Gatsby okay...

I am just like him,
At least that's what I am told,
If only I could pay for college,
When I was 18 years old.

Do you see my home?
It's right by the beach,
My ambitions and my goals,
Oh just out of reach!

We could have a party
But I've only got one shirt,
Swimming in my pool,
No we could swim in the dirt.

Want to ride my car?
It can go really fast,
Nope I forgot,
No one can afford gas.

I need to get a job,
I need to set myself straight,
If only it was enough,
To put food on my plate.

Maybe I'll move,
But where will I go?
China, maybe India,
I'll surely make dough.

Forget about Daisy,
I'm leaving this joint
I'm broke and I'm tired,
And I think you get the point,
Old Sport.
