Down and ready, palms are sweaty
The anticipation builds high;
Serve goes up my feet are steady
I am nervous my mouth is dry
Ball in flight it is so deadly
Pass it to your setter your ally.
Working hard, a perfect medley
Setter puts the ball to the sky
Flies right to the hitter’s alley
The hitter makes the DS cry;
The last hit, the big finally
The opposing team wonders why
We made the court, like Death Valley
Wondering why, JK, they die
