The lioness sits in the green grass
Quietly waiting to pounce
Not until she’s sure will she
Actually move an ounce

Her prey is so close to her
That she can smell its sweet, sweet blood
She starts to position her body
Removes her claws out from the mud

Then like lightening, she jumps into the air
But her prey moves just a bit faster
All her careful planning turned out to be
A tragedy; a disaster
