Why don’t you see the pain that she inflicts?
Why don’t you even care?
She acts all sweet and innocent around you
But is a devil sent from hell when you’re not there.

She’s like a deadly poison.
Thoughts of her fill your head at night.
She knows that if she wants something in her possession
She will always win the fight.

How do you think I feel?
Tell me, have you once tried to see
What lies beneath my strong face?
What lies inside of me?

The secrets I hide
The lies I must tell
You think that you know me
So very well

But you don’t.
You don’t understand
You don’t even start to see
What lies underneath this face of joy; underneath this face of glee.

Sometimes I wonder
If you even care
And if we both needed help
For whom would you be there?

For me, or for her?
It’s time to decide
Would you leave her just hanging,
Or would you leave me to die?
