Darling don't tell me you have flown when your wings have never met the sky!
Don't tell me this is the end when I haven't said goodbye.
No darling don't tell me you are the predator I dread,
When just last night I looked upon your eyes as you lay next to me in bed.
My eyes begin to blind and my lungs begin to flood
With ever lasting denial when you say your the one who seeks my blood.

Sometimes in life people push you away. I've come to realize this is often out of self-hatred and rejection. Don't be mad at those people, but instead try harder to help them.
