There once was a boy named Jake,
Who sat on a stump and ate cake.
He shoveled and chewed,
And devoured that food,
Yet his pants were as thin as a rake!

In this piece, I decided to write a short limerick. I believe that these types of poems are undervalued and are essential when starting to write poems. I love the idea of making a funny poem through the use of limerick!
