Light

Scorching, burning, bright
It shines down on humankind
Piercing, revealing.

Books

A vast wilderness
When opened reveals jungles
Of innovation.

Snow

Each flake is unique
A majesty of nature
Lacking conformity.

Cage

Metal bars gleaming
Innocent and guilty reside
Condemned all the same.

War

Never ending fights
Petty quarrels to battles
War will never cease.

Honey

Sweet words, bitter taste
The sharp tongue now lethargic
Filled with deception.

Water

Clear, crisp, shimmering
The current sways with nature
Pure simplicity.

All great haikus! "Cage" was my favorite because of how deep and dark it was. All of these haikus have great meanings to them
