Our flag watches him-
streaming its red, white and blue
waving him away
Without second thoughts
our brothers are sent afar
another number
As flags do when they
send our soldiers to die, they
stay behind and wave.

We see numbers upon numbers of troop movements in the media- who's deployed where, for how long, etc. Who is it though, who really cares for our soldiers, our brothers, sisters, loved ones? Or are they merely just another number to be treated and sent away as such?
