"Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game."

You are a red rose
One with soft, bold, red petals
One with pointy thorns

You are dangerous
You are a forbidden fruit
I should not want you

But my God, I do
I just want to be with you
Maybe hold your hand

You are the sunshine
Sunshine on a cloudy day
Warmth on my bare skin

You are a red rose
One with soft, bold, red petals
You are dangerous

I look in your eyes
Eyes that won't stop stunning me
And I just know it

I know what I want
But can it be that easy?
I don't know for sure

You are a red rose
One with soft, bold, red petals
You are dangerous

I should not want you,
You are a forbidden fruit
But my God, I do

I look in those eyes
Eyes the color of the sea
And I am silenced

You are a red rose
One with soft, bold, red petals
You are dangerous

Because I just know
There is something about you
My lovely red rose

Thank you so much :) It's funny you say that because I wrote this for a friend of mine who is really into songwriting. I'd love to check out your stuff :)
