A page of my own

Totally true! I want to make "a page of my own" too; this poem hits it spot on!

This poem is short but totally sums up how many of us feel! We're all trying to express ourselves and leave our mark somehow!

Ça fait tellement du bien d’aimer les gens qu’on aime, que ça finit par faire mal. Je sais pas comment on survit a ça. Non franchement, je sais pas. LOL (laughing out loud) ®, Lola.

Oooh.... love the metaphor! Great job.

"Late at night my mind would come alive with voices and stories and friends as dear to me as any in the real world. I gave myself up to it, longing for transformation." - Jo March, Little Women

This peice is beautiful. Not because you used fancy elaborate words but because there is so much truth in it. I mean, for almost all of us here at this website writing is up there with oxygen, it's how we express ourselves and your completely right, that is what we are all striving for. Thank you for writing this. (:

life isn't passing me by, it's trying to run me over!

wonderful!i love it. so simple and to the point, but yet, it paints a picture in your head that express so many words in your head, it's like a bird flying through the air and it brings color into the sky. I loved the poem!

Yes! I have a haiku I would like to submit but it is not 100 characters in length! Would someone please tell me how to submit it? It apparently can be done- there are a lot of short haikus on this website!
