Loosing You

-I never knew how
much could be lost in just one
single instant but
-that was before I
actually lost the thing
that mattered the most.
-Then I truly knew
the utter pain and sadness
that I had never known
-before I lost you.
And I want you to know I
will always regret
-giving you away
just because I couldn't stand
the thought of you as
-something un-perfect.
And I am so, so sorry
but now it's too late.
-I had to loose you.
And you'll never know my pain,
never know my pain,
-because I refused
to share yours. And you'll never
know how much I miss
-you, because I did
not think I ever would. And
I didn't get to say
-what I wanted to
in the little time you had
left to live and speak.
-I never knew how
much I could loose in that one
moment, but I lost you.
-I wasn't there
for you when you needed me and
for that I'm sorry.
-So very, very sorry.
But I know you can't forgive
me because you can't
-talk, and you can't move
and you can no longer breath.
You're just cold and gone.
-And I just let you
die without saying goodbye
without saying bye.
-I didn't know how
much could be lost in just one
single instant but
-that was before I
actually lost the thing
that mattered the most
You.

I was actually thinking about Health class, which got me thinking about HIV. This is a what-if story about a girl loosing someone she had a fight with but still loves to the disease.
