I think that people can relate to this on a deeper level because we all have doubts about ourselves. We all can underestimate our capabilities. Like the scared caterpillar, we don't know what we can accomplish (at least teenagers seem to feel that way!) ha!

really really thought provoking, hope this gets selected for the mag :) i wouldn't change anything about it...i know people complain that haikus are too short but i think this one is perfect!
