The Minotaur Cried
Watching a village burn down
From the distance
You're powerless, petrified
Yet amazed by the blaze
Everything is immobile, here
Steady and icy, as the lines lead to the mountains
Frozen in time, like a painting on the wall
The fire fades out
The ashes are resting
You can hear the blips
There's a Minotaur crying
You find the diary
It smells like cold death
A strange metallic melody resonates
You pick up the book
The cover is an intense red
The sounds pass and abruptly dissolve
Like glitches in a broken machine
Inside, drawings of the fire
So quiet, a desert in the winter
The Minotaur's tears are so dry
He was all alone, he could see the smoke
He tried to warn the unliving souls
But they were stuck, constantly rebooted
He didn't try to escape
And as the flames formed a circle around him
He just sat there and cried.

I based it on Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac's album's cover arts. The first one show mountains in a dystopian landscape, and the second one shows a red diary, with a crying minotaur on it.
