Favorite Quote:
A reader lives a thousand lives before she dies.

And I’m crying
Into the blank spaces
That lurk between the words
I’ll catch a tear and launch it to the moon
On wings of iridescent screams
The sounds of broken arm and leg and heart
Coagulate to propel me forward
Through the night.
I’ll trap a tear in sprigs of mistletoe
Skewer it with a kiss,
Turn the bitter sting of salt to effervescent steam
That evanesces into the silent air
And wish that every tear could die as sweet.
