Sadness
                                      Is quite a strange feeling
                                       An ache in my heart
                                   That never seems to go away
                                      No matter how many times I will it to

                                  When I’m happy
                                 I’m proud of something
                                 I’m pleased with something
                              Happiness is anything that puts a smile on my face
                               It's a emotion I often show
                                 By laughter or smiling
                                              
                         When I’m angry my heart is lit up with rage
                It’s an emotion that makes me blind to everything around me
                                 And drastically changes my personality
                              ANd sometimes makes me regret doing things
                      
                               Yet sadness is the strangest of them all
                                    It’s the easiest to hide
                                    Yet it hurts the most
                                Something loneliness can relate to
                               
                             Sadness is like a tick
                               Draining my happiness away
                               And leaving sadness behind
                               To slowly grow
                                 And devour me
                         And when it consumes me
            It takes thousands of smiles and kind words to melt it away

                            Yet even with all the darkness in the sky we still have stars
                                  Ready to light up the night sky
                                  Even with all the sadness in me
                                 There is still joy in this world
                              Something to counter the darkness
                             And give even the saddest hearts
