Patience

The stars are shining in the sky
You smile beneath a dark blue sky
Cliché?
I think so to
Im expecting something
A spark??
A light?
Something
Please lord
I want something

A tingle in my head
It tells me
Don’t feel dread
There will be more
Sometime later

Patience
It tells me
Patience
I will
Patience
it kills me
Patience
It makes me ill
Patience
is all
Its my world
Its my start
My epilogue
My end
My everything

I searched for something
That will never be mine
Patience
It tells me
Its out there
But I want It now
Patience
Its all I hear

Under the groove
In between my own two ears
In the restaurants
In the vents
Patience
It will all work out

The author's comments:

We are humans, all of us are impatient at times. We all want something at some point. I wanted to incase that through a character in search for love because what else is more cliché? If you where looking for a non cliché poem then scroll down because you will still have to be pacient.
