I though we could be different you and I

Like two sunflowers facing the sun while everyone else looked away

It was too bright for them

It hurt their eyes

They didn't want to be diffrent

They said

Hurling insults and biting remarks in girls bathrooms

Whispered voices behind bleachers

As they watched

And noticed us

Two sunflowers, without roots
