Angels Fall
I look outside as it starts to rain
And do my best to hide the pain.
Though my scars have healed, it true,
I wear long sleeves to hide the proof.
I look outside as it starts to snow
And realise pain is magical.
And though it true the white is grand,
It would still look great with the red from my hand.
Suddenly I snap awake
Hoping to see your beautiful face.
But all I see are these padded walls.
Sometimes angles have the farthest to fall.
