I hate it when I get up there
I get nervous
I shake and sweat
My hand get the papers all wet
My words come up as bubbles
Popping as they leave my mouth
Stuttering while blowing them
Or standing blank minded.

I hate public speaking!

this is my representation of how I feel when I have to talk in front of people. I wrote this after the poetry slam. A Lot of my friends told me I did a good. Personally, I felt like I didn’t. I shook the whole time.
