When it rains, it pours
The rain relates to me
The Rain soaks our clothes
Like my tears soak my pillow when I think of three-year-old Destinee
The rain, the reason my hair puffs, because of the hair you have given me, like my eyes after nights of crying
The red lights on top of the police cars and ambulances signify, the color of my eyes when I go back to three-year-old Destinee
when cars crashed and stopped, They signify my thoughts of you until December 27, 2017
The sky is my bed
My best friend who soaks up my thoughts
Holds me tight
The rain,
Sometimes brings joy, when you spin around in it
The rain calms me
Rain,
Put me to sleep
Take away these horrible memories

This poem compares things that happen when it rains to things in my life. It explains the calming parts that rain brings to me but also how destructive rain can be. I personally like the sound of rain but like crashes happen because of her slippery the rain it causes accidents, darkness makes me sad. My poem uses lots of imagery to make readers think and imagine. But, rain doesn't come lightly, When it rains, it pours.
