Still
The quantum silence overwhelmed her
And she started to sink into the abyss of the absent cry
But then her hands were grasped & she was lifted up into light
Her burden is imcomprably heavy but the load is shared by many
Her love never ends
Her grief pours out songs from the darkness
But she is a goddess and her power is limitless
And she wears her angel's wings over her heart
The populace of galaxies bestowed the goddess with a sun
He is light and his life is never, ever gone
My hands are empty but my heart is full of things I want to do and say
For she who does so much for everyone
She inspire, comforts, teaches & serves
She loves & edifies & exemplifies goodness
Her soul is a gallon overflowing with stars which she throws
And shares as she ignites the world with sparks of joy
She shines never-endingly forever
And she keeps her angel always in her heart

This poem was born out of sympathy for my friend's grief. It's hard to write about something so personal, but I gave it my best shot.
