When life gets crazy
When life doesn’t make sense
I smile
Because life is worth living
Because someone will always be there
I smile
Through the good and the bad.
Through the pain and the sorrow
I smile
Because right now I have a tomorrow
Because right now I have a future
Because right now I have a boyfriend who I adore
Friends who I love
Family that makes me laugh
Today is just a smiling sort of day
Because I know I have people
Who have me at every turn
Who will be there to dry my tears
And hold me close
I smile
