Why Is The Sky Red?

Why is the sky red? Why is the rose blue?
Why do her tears pool? And why do mine too?
What am I scared of? What makes me upstart?
What in my head hurts? Or is the hurt heart?
Could it be love? I know love’s not free
I know not to be swept/up in jealousy
Why when the moon glows/ do i stay up late?
Why is it i cry? Something i can’t state?
Why is the sky red? Why is the rose blue?
I think she loves me/ and i love her too
