He greets her with excitement,
as if they have been apart for years.
Her fingers flow through his blond hair.
Clingy teenager,
Walking her to every classroom.
Others grab her attention and jealousy fills his mind.
He tugs at her shirt,
signaling her to follow him.
At night he sings her sonnets,
The neighbors are not impressed.
He loves her dearly.
She will never leave his sight.
