A simpler time: Old Streets of Milwaukee

Vibrant oil lamps spew brightness,
red pavers reverse time,
no technology drowning my eyes,
just a real simple life.
I’m transported back into days past,
a striking bronze street car,
golden door handles, and tiny doors,
just a real simple life.
Gleaming frosted glass, Pfister hotel,
wood doors, hand carved beauty,
two lights open the dark,
just a real simple life.
