to perfect the
ART
of … what is it?
Emptiness is harsh,
yet Subdued is mild.
numb (like ice) –
thin like paper cut too soon from a
reaching pine.
The closer she stretches (races desperately) toward
Canopy,
teeth tear further into her golden flesh.
