Hellboy
He stares me down
I stare back
Like I can’t move
I feel paralyzed
His eyes look cold
Below freezing
Like he said his heart feels
Never see him crack a smile
I should worry
But I can’t wrap my head around
How he feels fully
I think he doesn’t even know
He acts different around people
Being alone
Is what he craves
But is scared to be alone
He feels like nothing
No-one cares about
Him, his feelings, or opinions
But he only feels that way
It’s not true
He battles with himself
All day
Just to lose
I blink and turn away from the mirror
