Nothing has altered,
I can’t steer the wheel.
I’m still estranged,
from myself , I fear.

No gears were mended,
no wounds were healed.
Albeit , the dawn shall break
over the mountains, I hear.

We’re all born loners,
feeble and impaired.
Yet love ignites our
senses , if it’s sincere.

All reminisces grow smoldered.
Had I known better,
I wouldn’t have been
a reckless lover , my dear.
