An acidic feel
A nuclear heating in the pit
Vibrations of fear
Resounding through veins
A static chill numbing all
Dull pain thumping
Digits jumping
A gentle creak shortens breath
The echo of footsteps
The choking silence
The knowing dread
And the silent prayer of two
Trembles cascading through the dark abyss
