Running.
Green turf, fast ball.
More running.
So close, keep going.
Faster, more running.
Tripped.
Get back up.
More running.
On the ground.
Can’t breath.
Heart racing.
Tears blur my eyes.
The world stops.
Silence.
Teammates.
They surround me.
Can’t see them.
Just me.
Breath.
But I can’t breath.
Yes, you can now listen to me.
In, and out.
Focus on me.
Just me.
I need to keep going.
Back up.
Keep breathing.
It’s ok.
It’s going to be ok.
