Night of Bottles
October 24, 2017
Waves crashing over and over,
Dark sky lit up with flashes of light,
Bottles sit on tables,
One in hand,
Causing chaos as liquor hits lips,
The night continues on,
Bottles upon bottles,
Flashes of light upon flashes of light,
Life goes on,
Life is wasted.

I did my poetry on alcohol abuse, or alcoholism. Many people have a problem with this or know someone with this problem. I hope people will read this and become more aware of this problem and just think about how its effecting people's daily lives.
