His hands quiver. Sweat streams, his face turns red. Dad begs for more.
In white sheets, his bed swarms with nurses. One says, “Take these nine pills.”
He throws the glass. “This is it, no more.” His relief: no more drinks.

This is written in a Korean poetic form called sijo.
