Love and Hate

What irony to
Hate someone that
I once loved

Care that once
Sprung eternal
Has withered

In its place
Hatred has risen
And yet I

And yet I
Still care somehow
Or do I

Maybe you just
Draw the eye
Like a bold

Red in a
Black, white, and
Grey sea

Ay, me, to
Hate what I
Loved and be

A bad person
Do I love
Or hate thee?

I know not
Maybe I just
Hate to hate

But still I
Can't help but
Stare at you

Stranger o' mine
