I am the person who tried to commit suicide before the age of 10,
I am the person who got hospitalized and almost died because of an overdose,
I am the girl who regrets ever getting close to her mother,
I am the girl who hides in the shadows,
I am the girl who hides her feelings behind a smile,
I am the girl who everyone seems to replace after a while,
I am the girl who doesn’t share her past,
I am not the person everyone depicts me to be,
I am the girl who will love you no matter how many times you hurt me,
I am the girl who will look at you and be able to tell something is wrong,
I am the person that will be there for you no matter what is going on in my own life
I am and always will be the girl my grandma raised
I am the girl who still misses my great grandma,
