Football
It is game day
And I get to play
I am a happy man
I have a few fans
I put my gloves on my hand
Then put my cleats on while I sit in the stands

If I get the hit
Coach will not throw a fit
When I got hit by #2
The team thought I was through
If I get the the ball
I’ll make sure I don’t fall

I think we're about to lose
And I got a big bruise
Coach is getting mad
But it’s just a tad
If I see the yellow flag
It will be a big drag

I wish the line would block
So they can stop the clock
The quarterback threw a pass
It came up short and hit the grass
That ended the game
Maybe next week won’t be the same
