Goodbye

I walked to the place I’ve never cared for before.

The forest.

The cool air welcomed me,

the shadows didn’t.

Trees welcomed me,

but the ground plants didn’t.

One plant drew my attention,

I knew it’s name,

But I decided to be brave.

Gradually,

I felt my face pulsating  like a steam train.

My skin became the sun.

My face inflated.

My eyes felt small like a doll.

My head spun like a top.

I never knew,

What kind of affliction the world could deliver.

Douleur.

Never had I introduced myself to the thing I feared the most.

but it already knew me.

I never knew how I  liked the sun.

How it shines on me.

How the wind gathers all its forces

just for me.

I’ve never cared for the forest, until the day came  to say au revoir.
