Life is not a box of chocolates

If life is like a box of chocolates why isn’t it sweet?
I work my fingers to the bone just to make ends meet.
Life rips your heart out and breaks your back.
Pushes you down ‘till you land with a smack.
It puts its hand out to pick you back up.
It shoves you right back down just to see if you’re tough.
Life is more like a roller coaster
Puts your heart in your stomach and your head in a spin.
It rips you around just to do it all again.
Takes a short break while you catch your breath.
All the sudden you drop to what seems like your death.
It isn’t all bad.
Not all a run in one place.
I look up to the stars and put a smile on my face.
I know we go through hell on Earth.
It is only so we go to heaven and see what it is all worth.

Be happy, not because everything you see is good, but because you can see the good in everything.

Wow! Great job. I would only suggest a minor revision. Instead of putting "end's meat", it would be correct to put "ends meet". But that's just a spelling error. What really counts is the feel of the poetry. And it was great! I loved it. :)
