I know

I know I’m not the girl with the nicest and straightest hair
I know I’m not the girl with the smoothest skin or the clearest skin
I know I’m not the girl with the skinniest thighs or the smallest thighs
I know I’m not the girl with the lushest lips or the pinkest lips
I know I’m not the girl with the whitest teeth or the straightest teeth
I know I’m not the girl with the expensive clothes or the shiniest rings
I know I’m not the girl with the prettiest eyes or the biggest eyes
I know I’m not the girl with the best athletic skill or musical talent
I know I’m not the girl with the cutest laugh or softest laugh
I know I’m not the girl with all the boys or any boy
However
I know I’m the girl with bad skin, the disgusting skin who embraces it
I know I’m the girl with wavy hair, the gross hair, who embraces it
I know I’m the girl with a larger stomach, the wider thighs, who embraces it
I know I’m the girl with small lips, the thin lips who embraces it
I know I’m the girl with a loud laugh, an obnoxious laugh, who embraces it
I know I’m the girl who boys do not like, boys do not find pretty
But I do know if anyone looked from the inside, at my heart, my personality, my gestures, my gifts, my love,
I’d win it all

You should also know that your self critic is harsher than anyone else. I'm sure when someone sees you, they don't notice these critiques you have for yourself. You seem beautiful inside and out. But honestly, I can relate to all these feelings. I love your poem!
