Your Soul

When you found me there
Lying half dead on the side of the road
You took me in and wrapped me in your soul
A Thousand pins and needles piercing my skin
Couldn't keep me from you
Pain and heartbreak and angry poetry
I lost myself trying to keep myself together
Yet you stayed by my side
Offering your blanket and your love
Your guidance and comfort
Sometimes i still lose pieces of myself
But you help me stitch them back on
I never knew myself until i was in your arms.
