You scratched away the words on my heart.
I washed them with my silent tears.
I closed your holes with my quiet soul
watched them scar still far from whole.
When they would hold against men so bold,
I tore my stitches free.
Now I have no words, no mantra true,
but the memory,
reminding me of you.
