Mirror mirror on the wall
you are the evilest one of them all.
Creating an image with imperfections
when all I desire is attention and affection.
You poison my thoughts
with images that make me want to be someone I'm not.
I find myself wanting to change,
leaving my body morphed and estranged.
So I continue to apply the lipstick Cosmopolitan said would look the best
hoping that maybe I'll be like the rest.
